Atlantium Ltd., an Israeli water treatment company, has announced that it has raised $9 million. $3 million was invested by European VC Aster Capital. Further funds were invested by Swiss VC Aeris Capital AG and by the company’s chairman and CEO Benjamin Kahn. The company says it will use the funds to further develop its ballast water treatment product and expand its operations in the fields of power generation and advanced oxidation.
