Israeli-American company Adapteva has raised $900,000 through crowdsourcing website Kickstarter. Financial magazine Calcalist reports that the company set a goal of raising $750,000, but surpassed it. Adapteva is developing an affordable super-computer motherboard, which will be open-source based.
