Israeli Startup Meetey Raises $1.6M

Meetey, an Israeli location-based social network, intended to get people in touch with their neighborhood, has announced that it has raised $1.6 million. The financing round came just three weeks after launching the company’s beta product, which attracted over 5,000 Israeli users.
