American corporation 3M has chosen VocalZoom as its first investment in Israel. Financial magazine Calcaist reports that 3M will invest $4 million in the Israeli company, which develops noise reduction technology for voice calls. The Modi’in-based company is developing a system that uses two sensors, one for voice recognition and one for visual recognition of lip-movement, and combined the data for optimal noise reduction.
