Bee Surgical, an Israeli medical company that develops technology to minimize the size of incisions necessary for laparoscopic surgery, has secured $2.5 million in investment funding. Laparoscopy is modern surgical procedure, usually used in abdominal procedure such as appendicitis, using a camera that monitors the surgery. The company is part of the Misgav Venture Accelerator, which serves Israeli medical startups.
