Odyssey Moon, the American team competing in Google’s contest of landing an unmanned civilian vehicle on the moon, has decided to remove itself from the competition and team up with Israeli contestant SpaceIL. The team is one of 24 teams from around the world who aim to land the vehicle on the moon, navigate it for 500 meter and transmit real-time images of the moon’s surface.
