Rosetta Green, an Israeli agro-biotechnology company that develops improved crop traits for the agriculture and alternative fuel industries, signed a licensing agreement with Bayer CropScience, which specializes in the production and commercialization of seeds. The two companies will launch a joint project to develop new cotton varieties that could produce better yields under difficult environmental conditions such as drought.
