Israeli agritech analytics company CropX announced Tuesday a partnership with FarmAgro, a leader in the commercialization of agroforestry equipment in Costa Rica, to help Latin American farmers become more efficient and profitable by offering innovative agritech solutions and precision agriculture tools based on the CropX farm management platform.
CropXx plans to expand its deployment across the Latin America and Caribbean region with the partnership. Through CropX’s irrigation management tools, FarmAgro will unlock data from farmers in the region to better understand the impact of climate change on the agriculture.

“Climatic variations across Central and Latin America are creating a new set of risks for farmers in the region. The CropX platform integrates data from its proprietary soil sensors with comprehensive above-ground data layers like weather, satellite imagery, and crop models.
When deployment in Central America reaches critical mass, FarmAgro says it plans to expand CropX distribution to the entire Latin American region.
