Study: 1 In 4 Women Traumatized By Childbirth
A team of Israeli researchers has found that over a third of new mothers experienced post-traumatic symptoms after giving birth. The analysis found that a month after giving birth, 26% of the mothers suffered to some extent from symptoms typical of posttraumatic stress.

Study To Tell Susceptibility To Post-Traumatic Stress
Tel Aviv University researchers are using brain imaging to uncover susceptibility to psychological stress and trauma, even before it occurs. The researchers hope that early detection of high-risk subjects will allow for better treatment.
