Nvidia says it will fully finance the costs for surrogacy proceedings and adoption processes for each of its 2,500 employees across seven development centers in Israel.

The move was hailed as historic and unprecedented by Eyal Waldman, co-founder of Mellanox, the Israeli firm acquired by Nvidia for $7B.

The acquisition was first announced in March 2019 pending regulatory approval.
