Next Insurance offers small business insurance in the US; it last raised $250 million in September 2020 at a $2 billion valuation.

The partnership between Next Insurance and Amazon will allow Business Prime members to purchase a number of insurance offerings.

The investment comes four months after the Palo Alto-based Hippo raised $150 million at a valuation of $1.5 billion.

The two companies will also design index insurance products that automatically compensate farmers when they are facing difficult weather conditions.
