The investment comes four months after the Palo Alto-based Hippo raised $150 million at a valuation of $1.5 billion.

Founded in 2015, Hippo is led by Israeli-born CEO Assaf Wand, and CTO Eyal Navon; it made its debut in the insurance marketplace in April 2017.
