Future Meat will use the Series B funding round to build a US production facility for its cell-grown meat products.

Future Meat has advanced cost-efficient, GMO-free production of meat directly from animal cells, without the need to raise or harvest animals.

The startup says it created the first prototype of cell-grown steak to deliver the full experience of meat with the appearance, shape, and texture of beef cuts.
