New Brain Stimulation Device Helps Smokers Quit
Israeli researchers found that stimulating the brain using magnetic currents can lead to a significant reduction in the urge to smoke. After undergoing treatment with a device that stimulates the nervous system in the brain, 40 percent of participants in the study stopped smoking.
