The round as led by YL Ventures and Bright Capital, which were joined by other private investors.

Israeli stem cell therapy company Gamida Cell Ltd. has announced success in the Phase III clinical trial of its treatment for leukemia and lymphoma StemEx. The results show a mortality rate which is 35.5 percent lower for people treated with StemEx, as opposed to people who were not.

BioCancell Reports Positive Results On Pancreatic Cancer Treatment
Israeli company BioCancell Therapeutics Ltd., has announced positive results in a Phase IIb clinical trial of its BC-819 treatment for pancreatic cancer. The study showed that the drug is safe for all patients and that increasing the dosage of the drug does not cause deterioration in the patients’ condition.

Gigya says it has expanded its clientele to include power players such as Wal-Mart and DirectTV, reaching a total of 650 clients.
