June 1, 2015 | The Israeli visual search company Superfish announced that it will change its name and business direction in light of complaints about its service. According to Superfish co-founder Adi Pinhas, Superfish will change its name to ‘JustVisual‘ and it will focus solely on its visual search technology, that is able to identify objects and provide information on images. Superfish and its controversial ad-targeting practices will be discontinued, and JustVisual promises to be more up-front about its ad-injection practices. JustVisual was established on April 7, 2015 by the founders of Superfish, Adi Pinhas and Michael Chertok.
