April 1, 2015 | The number of Israeli patent filings in the US grew by 21 percent in 2014, compared to 2013, according to a study by Israeli business information firm BdiCoface. The Startup Nation was ranked No.3 on the list of foreign countries filing patents in the US, after Japan and Taiwan. Topping the list of Israeli R&D centers filing in the US are: IBM, Intel and Marvell. Tel Aviv University was ranked it No. 6.
