Google places a great emphasis on making its offices worldwide a fun place for its workers, and the new Tel Aviv offices are no different. Opened in late 2012, the offices, located in the Electra Tower in the heart of the city, were created with a unique design approach.
The 8,000 square-meter space, spreading across seven floors, has a variety of designed spaces, each with its own theme. The offices were influenced by themes such as Friends & Family, Culture & Heritage, Energy & Vitality, Joy & Optimism, Innovation & Hospitality, Dream & Delight and Humor & Fun.
Housing 250 workers, the Tel Aviv offices were designed by Swiss Design Team Camenzind Evolution in collaboration with Setter Architects and Studio Yaron Tal.
Amongst other things, the Israeli offices were involved in projects such as the Digital Dead Sea Scrolls Project, Google Suggest, Live Results and the Personal Finder Application.
