An Israeli startup teaching English language using generative AI has launched an Android version of its virtual tutor app, which was previously only available via Apple’s iOS.
Loora says it has developed the most advanced AI tutor for English, using a specially designed system of language models that have been trained to create an optimal, personalized learning experience for each of its users.
The platform gives users the ability to converse naturally with a native English speaker at any time and on any topic, while delivering feedback in real time. The company says more than two thirds of its users are learning English for professional purposes, and that their AI coach is particularly designed for this.
The Tel Aviv-based company emerged from stealth (operating without any public awareness) last year with $9.25 million in seed funding.
“We are thrilled to now be available on Android and make Loora increasingly accessible to learners around the world,” said Loora CEO and co-founder Roy Mor.
“Launching Loora on Android is a significant milestone on our mission to make English fluency accessible to anyone in the world, empowering them to thrive professionally and personally,” he said.
“We look forward to continuing to grow and expand Loora among more users and audiences to do the greatest good for the greatest number of people.”
