Israel’s largest online investment platform OurCrowd is teaming up with the American semiconductor giant Nvidia to offer startups working in AI a fast track into the Nvidia Inception program.
The Nvidia Inception program is made to accelerate startups by providing technology, connections to investors, and resources and tools. Startups at all stages can join the program.
The fund will invest in around 20-25 startups in different stages of funding and locations. All selected startups will be fast-tracked into the program and given access to Nvidia training courses.
Several companies have already been approved as part of the AI fund including:
D-ID, an Israeli generative AI video company;
One Zero Digital Bank, Israel’s first private digital bank;
Polaris Quantum Biotech, which uses AI for new drug development;
“Our collaboration with Nvidia Inception will help give qualifying companies in the fund access to a program tailor-made to nurture startups and equip them for success,” said OurCrowd CEO and founder Jon Medved.
“When people think of artificial intelligence today, they think of generative AI programs like OpenAI’s ChatGPT. However, the transformative power of AI goes much further than its ability to generate text, photographs, music, video, and other materials,” he said.
“Our collaboration with OurCrowd AI Fund will develop the next generation of AI startups, helping to shape the way that AI will benefit multiple aspects of our lives,” said Arik Kol Head of Nvidia Inception Israel and senior director.
