An Israeli firm that creates safety technologies for drones has partnered with a sustainable energy company to increase the performance and safety of drones.
ParaZero Technologies uses independent sensors to constantly monitor and analyze a drone’s flight. This lets its system autonomously identify and minimize flight risks while protecting the loss of expensive drones, equipment and payloads.
When the system identifies a critical failure, it will autonomously deploy a parachute, cut the power to the drone’s motors to ensure a safe descent, and sound an alarm to warn bystanders about incoming danger from above – giving them time to move out of harm’s way.
Now, the company is going to combine its solutions with the vibration reduction technology of the California-based KULR Technology Group to increase the performance and safety of the drones into which it is integrated.
KULR’s solution uses AI algorithms to pinpoint and correct excess vibration in helicopters and drones – something that can lead to mechanical fatigue and may cause the vehicle to fail while in flight.
“By integrating KULR VIBE’s vibration reduction tech with our technology safety systems, we’re setting a new standard for UAS [unmanned aircraft systems] operations,” said ParaZero in a statement.
