A platform built by Israeli tech experts is battling fake news about Israel during its war with Hamas in the Gaza Strip, which began with the terror group’s massacre of 1,400 people on October 7.
Stand4Israel.net is a digital resource for real-time information about Israel, presenting detailed survivors’ accounts of the massacre and information about the victims and the more than 200 people abducted to Gaza by Hamas.
The platform also contains thousands of images and video clips from the attack that can be shared on social media networks. Many of the resources are extremely graphic in nature.
It is available in 11 different languages, including Arabic, Chinese and Russian, to make its content accessible around the world.
“Israel’s ability to tell the true story will have a critical impact later in the war, and we are contributing our part to that,” said Liad Eshkar, one of the creators of Stand4Israel.
Eshkar is executive VP at Kaltura, a leading video cloud company created by Israelis, which is powering the platform in collaboration with AI content generator GlossAI and other partners.
Stand4Israel.net has also collaborated with generative AI company Blueskai to launch a dedicated platform for journalists to securely upload media content, which is analyzed and reviewed by authorized personnel before it is publicly shared.
