An Israeli mobility cybersecurity company has been named one of the EU’s top 10 companies by the European Prize for Mobility (EUSP).
Jerusalem-based C2A Security was the only Israeli company to make the list, chosen from more than 700 candidates across the region. It was also named one of four gold medal winners at the award ceremony in Brussels on Thursday night.
The EUSP is Europe’s largest acceleration program for clean mobility startups. The program was founded by the EU and is a joint private and public initiative.
C2A Security works with automotive companies throughout the entire development process, ensuring that the carmakers have digital control over every line of code from planning to production, and even after the vehicles have rolled off the factory floor.
“These companies offer some of the most innovative and more sustainable solutions in the field and are an inspiration to all of us who have come to follow their journey,” the judges for the competition said.
“We’re very pleased to be named one of Europe’s top 10 companies for mobility,” said C2A CEO Roy Fridman.
“Especially under today’s challenging and difficult times in Israel, we are committed to our vision, and continue our work to improve product security for car makers and mobility companies everywhere,” he said.
“Israeli hi-tech remains innovative and strong, with an impact on global markets in every field. We want to continue to be a beacon of light for technology innovation and pray for peace.”
