An Israeli company has developed a new personalized artificial intelligence tool to help its clients detect cybersecurity risks.
Startup Rescana says that its Vega tool could help revolutionize the way security managers handle cyber risks. It uses AI and natural language processing (NLP) to let users create dashboards, reports, and alerts that are tailored to their individual needs.
Vega has a variety of capabilities, such as reading texts, decoding images and more. These capabilities allow security experts to access any piece of information they need and analyze it to make informed decisions.
Its processes are fully automated, so even security personnel with no programming background can use it without any problem.
According to IBM, it takes about 280 days to detect and stop a cyber attack, and the average cost to deal with each such attack is about $3.86 million. The lack of clarity and the lack of correct mapping of the data limit the ability of security teams to use it to make informed decisions regarding security processes, and harm cyber security and the possibility of establishing comprehensive plans for it.
“We are excited to launch Vega,” said Rescana CEO Guy Halfon. “Our vision has always been to remove the barriers which hinder effective risk assessment and allow security teams to gain better visibility of their business environment.
“Vega’s advanced AI capabilities and user-friendly interface enable organizations to streamline and simplify operations, their security and maximize their resources.”
