Israeli startup Orca Security, which offers protection for cloud-stored data, has announced an extension of its existing collaboration with Google Cloud.
The new agreement means that Orca will secure cloud workloads, data and users across multiple cloud providers.
Orca previously integrated its cloud safeguarding platform with a number of Google products, including Google Chronicle, Security Command Center and VirusTotal.
The integration of Orca into the Google products means that the startup can transfer data to the Google Cloud Security Command Center so that it can see any potential weak spots in their platform.
The company says it offers full coverage for user data on Google Cloud and protection from any form of risk.
“Orca Security and Google Cloud both share the belief that security analysts need the ability to solve more incidents with greater complexity while requiring less effort and less specialized knowledge,” said Gil Geron, CEO at Orca Security.
“Together, we are enabling better detection with faster and more accurate response at the speed and scale of modern cloud environments. We’re looking forward to continuing the partnership with Google Cloud and working with them to help security operations teams accomplish so much more in defense of their organizations,” he said.
