Israeli medical imaging company Given Imaging, which develops endoscopic capsules, is being pursued by Japanese corporation Fuji. According to Israeli financial magazine Globes, Fuji’s offer stands at $750 million, however Given Imaging’s owner Nochi Dankner will not sell to company for under $1 billion. Given Imaging has recently acquired American company SmartPill, which develops similar products, for $6 million.
