An Israeli tech firm that enables companies to make their websites and apps accessible for people with disabilities has launched a new toolkit to facilitate the process.
User1st calls its U1 Toolkit a groundbreaking product that saves over 80 percent of the time and resources required to make websites and applications accessible.
The groundbreaking platform automatically detects and repairs multifaceted issues with making websites and mobile apps accessible during their development.
It also automates much of the process of using source code to make sites accessible, something that has previously proven to be a challenge for developers.
The Toolkit includes automatic scanning of application code to detect accessibility issues; automated fixing of simple static accessibility issues; and semi-automated repair suggestions for more complex and dynamic issues.
The new product is driven by advanced AI and machine learning and also offers continuous maintenance of accessibility features and support for all major international accessibility standards. ‘
“Achieving full accessibility has been a major challenge for development teams,” said User1st founder and CEO Ben Rosanes.
“Our U1 Toolkit revolutionizes this process by integrating seamlessly into the developer workflow to automatically identify and resolve accessibility barriers at unprecedented speed,” he said.
