An Israeli platform allowing users to map their favorite local spots for recreational experiences such as eating out, hiking and even where to take a date has added maps for gluten-free and celiac dining.
Tel Aviv-based Atly allows users to map their own recommendations and help others find their “new favorite places,” identifying a growing online trend for user-created, community-driven maps.
The map, called Gluten-Free Eats, already has 28,000 gluten free places in the US and is vetting an additional 300,000 places to expand in the upcoming weeks.
It includes a rating for every place with the safety levels of contamination between gluten and gluten-free items and Atly takes the time to go and verify the places on an ongoing basis.
“Atly is committed to helping people discover new places quickly and easily, which requires a deep understanding of what makes a place safe, enjoyable, and a good fit for a specific person. That depth of understanding and confidence in a restaurant couldn’t be more critical for the celiac and gluten-free community,” said Atly’s CEO and co-founder Uriel Maslansky.
“Gluten-Free Eats perfectly encapsulates our mission to redefine the way people find their next favorite spot, and we’re proud to be providing a resource that is not only unmatched in its comprehensiveness but also rooted in the real needs and experiences of those it serves.”
