An Israeli company that makes smart healing and cooling systems is introducing a virtual assistant powered by generative AI chatbot ChatGPT.
Sensibo allows users to remotely set timers, control fan speeds and adjust the temperature of all units in their home, to reduce energy consumption and save money.
The Ramat Gan-based company integrated ChatGPT into its system last year, helping the user with recommendations based on individual behavior patterns, for example for timed automatic heating, and is now expanding its use within the platform.
The new AI Assistant will be able to interpret commands that range from the simple, such as “I’m cold,” to more complex instructions on energy conservation or scheduling based on weather forecasts.
It will also allow users to deliver commands to their temperature control devices via the Sensibo cloud.
“As the AI revolution deepens, we at Sensibo researched more ways to incorporate this technology to advance our smart climate systems,” said Omer Enbar, Sensibo co-founder and COO.
“The integration of an AI Assistant into Sensibo, powered by ChatGPT, will make our smart controllers even smarter; now activated by voice and able to understand complex commands. The 250,000 Sensibo users around the world will secure maximum energy efficiency with these advanced technologies, directly impacting our climate,” he said.
