Israeli startup Swimm has launched an artificial intelligence platform that analyzes a company’s coding and records to quickly provide information for its developers.
/ask Swimm was created in order to help development teams focus on their work instead of spending time searching for information within a company’s codebase.
The software includes a chatbot that is personalized to each organization’s codebase, documentation and user interaction. Internal knowledge from the company gives the workers the ability to get answers about crucial information and agreements.
Swimm, which has offices in Tel Aviv and New York, says it believes that all code should be easy to understand, developing tools to make documents and information easily accessible.
“Context is invaluable especially when refactoring legacy code or trying to understand complex flows and processes in a codebase,” said Swimm CEO and co-founder Oren Toledano.
“By keeping documentation and context up to date with existing code, processing it and feeding it in time to the [large language model] LLMs, Swimm has solved one of the biggest challenges developers face today.”
