Arbe Robotics, the Israeli developer of autonomous vehicle sensors, has released what it says is the strongest solution on the market for automotive radars.
Arbe develops radar tech for advanced driver-assist systems (ADAS). This includes its Phoenix Perception Radar, a system that can detect driving hazards up to 350 meters away, enable emergency braking and autopilot driving on highways.
Its new Radar Processor enables the real time processing of the massive amounts of raw data, providing the radars and sensors used by ADAS with a higher and wider range of vision, increasing their accuracy in collision avoidance, adaptive cruise control, and more.
The company says that its a tenfold improvement in processing power compared to the current strongest radar processor alternatives.
“Our powerful Perception Radar solution requires the strongest processing chip on the market today, which we designed at Arbe,” says Kobi Marenko, CEO at Arbe.
“Our patented processor… [maintains] low power consumption, a feat no other company was able to achieve,” he said.
“Arbe’s sophisticated perception radar remains the only solution that can support the needs of hands-free driving at an affordable price, providing unmatched safety that can scale the industry to autonomy.”
