An Israeli startup that uses artificial intelligence to price real estate more efficiently is offering apartments at no cost to residents of the south who were forced to leave their homes after Hamas terrorists from Gaza attacked their communities on October 7, killing at least 1,400 and abducting 230 more.
Propdo uses AI to price apartments and make market predictions by analyzing millions of real estate transactions from previous decades throughout Israel.
The company has partnered with the National Chamber of Real Estate Brokers to launch the new housing project, which addresses the displaced residents’ housing needs and matches them with suitable apartments.
The residents can apply for the temporary housing by filling out an online form, where they specify the city they’d prefer to live in as well, and whether the accommodation must be suitable for people with special needs, children and pets.
They will then be directly connected to owners of the apartments participating in the project. The stay is completely free of charge.
“As a company made up mostly of veterans of combat units and reservists working on the front lines, we decided to find additional ways to support the home front as well,” said Peleg Davidovitz, CEO and founder of Propdo.
“In the first hours of the establishment of the project, we have already received thousands of inquiries from residents who need alternative housing solutions and we are doing everything necessary to assist them in this effort.”
