Israeli startup Talon Cyber Security has won an international innovation award for its platform that offers browser protection in any location and on any device.
The annual SINET16 Innovator Award is given to companies around the world for technology in the field of cybersecurity.
The award’s review committee comprises more than 100 security professionals, including government officials, financial experts and venture capitalists.
Talon was honored for its Enterprise Browser, a fully secure web browser that filters out malicious URLs, phishing websites and malware.
The 16 honorees were narrowed down from 195 applications from 13 countries, recognized for their technology’s success in addressing real problems in a superior and sustainable manner.
“A heartfelt congratulations to Talon for being named a SINET16 winner,” said SINET Chairman Robert D. Rodriguez.
“Talon’s potential to change the trajectory of the industry with its enterprise browser technology is impressive. We look forward to watching the company continue to mature as they progress on their journey and mission to power and protect modern workforces,” he said.
In August, Talon announced that its software would be integrated into Amazon’s security data management system after joining the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Accelerate Program.
“In today’s world of SaaS applications and modern work models, the browser has become the primary vehicle through which users work and business is conducted,” said Talon co-founder and CEO Ofer Ben-Noon.
“It has been incredible to see how quickly the enterprise browser market has matured, and it is an honor to be recognized by SINET as an innovative company that is making a difference for customers.”
