Israel is becoming the Climate Tech Nation, with over 100 startups receiving venture funding or grants in the last two years.
They’re among the country’s 850 startups that are addressing climate change, according to Start-Up Nation Finder.
It has generated an interactive map allowing users to click the company logo and learn about their product, funding stage, team members and more.
All the startups listed develop technologies that can directly or indirectly help with mitigation (avoiding and reducing emissions of heat-trapping greenhouse gasses), or assist with adaptation efforts to climate change.
Start-Up Nation Finder, a comprehensive and up-to-date digital resource on Israel’s innovation ecosystem, classifies the climate tech companies according to six key areas: food and land use, energy transition, carbon tech, water, transportation and logistics, and cleander industry tech.
Start-Up Nation Finder was established by Start-Up Nation Central, a nonprofit that promotes Israeli innovation worldwide, in 2014. It has information on over 8,000 active companies, investors, hubs, and multinational corporations active in Israel.
