An Israeli startup that uses AI to help online shoppers find their perfect clothing size is extending its solution to cats and dogs.
“The tremendous variety of dog breeds, sizes, and proportions underscore the need for an easy-to-use, mobile phone-based sizing solution,” said MySize CEO Ronen Luzon.
“As an increasing number of pet parents are purchasing apparel for their four-legged life companions, choosing the right size has not been easy.”
All human users buying clothes for themselves need to do is input their height, weight, and gender, and websites using the MySize tool will be able to generate the perfect size for their entire clothing catalog, reducing size-related returns.
MySize is now offering the same solution, but for our animal companions, helping owners find the perfect -fitting shirts, pajamas, coats, and dresses for their dogs and cats.
More and more clothing brands are designing apparel for pets, and by 2028, the pet apparel market will grow to an estimated $7 billion.
“We believe MySizeID will be the first pet apparel sizing solution on the market, based on our assessment, and we look forward to working with innovative pet apparel retailers that aim to improve their consumer journey and sustainability.”
MySize says it already provides hundreds of thousands of size recommendations for consumers annually. Clothing brands that use its solution include Levi’s, Nautica, Diesel, and Speedo.
The Israeli startup has also unveiled a smart mirror, extending its solution to physical clothing stores. The smart mirror speeds up the shopping process by telling customers their perfect size, generating a 3D avatar to show customers how they would look wearing the garment, offering suggested clothing items, and even letting them checkout there instead of at a cash register.
MySize was founded in 2014, and is based in Airport City, a business park in Tel Aviv.
