A smart water bottle developed in Israel lights up and vibrates to remind users to stay hydrated.
It connects to an app, allowing users to build personalized daily water targets, and the cap measures how much water they drink in a day.
The bottle vibrates and its cap flashes bright colors when it’s time for the user to drink.
It also sends reminders to their smartphone and smartwatch when it’s time to drink, and tells them how much water is left in the bottle.
Impacx, the company behind the new product, develops, manufactures, and sells smart cap solutions for everyday items like vitamin pill bottles and cleaning packages, reminding consumers to use them, auto-replenishing them when they are about to run out, and generating valuable data for both consumers and the brands.
In October, the company announced a partnership to produce smart bottles for global sports fuel brand Gatorade.
“We’re excited to partner with an international brand such as Gatorade,” Yoav Hoshen, Co-founder and senior vice president said at the time.
“At Impacx, we empower consumers through our digital and personalized solutions to help them track their own hydration and wellness needs.
“We strive to be leaders of the smart hydration space and are dedicated to technology that brings a robust and well-rounded product for our customers and partners.”
