Twelve startups were selected to take part in the latest accelerator program in Tel Aviv by the US-based seed accelerator Techstars, the organization announced this week.
The selected startups in this latest 2022 cohort span a wide range of verticals, embodying a variety of solutions for their industries. Each of the firms – which were handpicked from hundreds of applications – will each receive $120,000, be matched with world-renowned mentors for expert consultation, and gain access to Techstars’ global network of industry professionals and strategic investors.
Founded in 2006 in Colorado, USA, Techstars currently operates worldwide and has received more than 1,600 different ventures under it.
The 12 startups taking part in the accelerator are:
Valid.it: A venture developing a fully remote, cell phone-based polygraph test that will replace the invasive, expensive, long, and cumbersome test available today.
+SCALE; a solution that transitions procurement for suppliers and buyers and transforms manual or partially digitized work methods into a fully digitized process.
Pledger Giving App: social impact as a service for e-commerce stores that makes it easy for every store to team up with a variety of causes and grow through charitable giving.
Platera.ai: a company that has developed a machine learning-based sales analysis tool that helps overcome the generic sales cycle. The tool uses behavioral signal processing to characterize buyer persona.
Synergym.Ai: a psychology-based AI platform that serves as a ‘virtual sport psychologist’ for personal trainers and their clients.

Beez Tech: a startup that created Quiz Beez, an ‘edutainment’ platform that helps users increase their cognitive abilities and boost intelligence through fun games.
Dodo Smart: a platform that works with educators, psychiatrists, therapists, and linguistic professionals to create a playful learning experience for preschool children in Arabic.
Luzverde: a “credit sales as a service” model that enables merchants to better qualify their clients at the point of sale and provide instant responses.
Calosense: a platform to provide ongoing remote support for bariatric care and other long-term conditions, leading to greater patient adherence to treatment protocol and a significant increase in positive clinical results.
Eco-Price: A platform that provides eCommerce store optimization utilizing AI, seamlessly providing product-level actionable insights, no-code automation, and market intelligence.
Price backers: a platform that helps generate additional profit for e-commerce merchants using automated, scalable cashback technological solutions.
