Israeli Startup Cider Security Raises $38M In Series A Round

Israeli app security provider, Cider Security, secured $38 million in a Series A funding round led by Tiger Global Management, the company announced this week. 

Glilot Capital Partners and its early growth fund, Glilot+, also participated in the round.  

The new capital will be used to expand the company’s R&D operations in Israel and open new offices around the world to better support growing demand. 

With the onset of new security challenges and gaps emerging throughout the evolving app ecosystem, Cider Security’s platform provides security teams with a comprehensive understanding and an up-to-date perspective of the technologies, systems, and processes unique to each kind of engineering environment. Doing so improves system resiliency against hackers. 

Founded towards the end of 2020, Cider Security’s mission is to solve the most common challenges encountered by chief information security officers and security engineers.
