Next Insurance, an Israeli-founded, California-based insurance tech startup, has partnered with Amazon Business to offer affordable digital insurance solutions to small businesses, the parties announced this week.
Founded in 2016, Next Insurance provides digital, small business insurance coverage across the US with an easy, instant, 24/7 solution with online access. The company recently raised $250 million in Series D funding at a company valuation of $2 billion.
The partnership between Next Insurance and Amazon will allow Business Prime members to easily obtain a quote and purchase general liability, professional liability, workers’ compensation, commercial auto, and tools and equipment insurance coverage.
“We believe the future of the insurance buying experience involves meeting customers where they already are and making it easy to purchase customized and affordable policies,” said Next Insurance CEO Guy Goldstein. “We are proud to continue to be chosen by top companies, like Amazon, who understand the best way to serve small businesses is through digital solutions.”
Todd Heimes, director of Amazon Business Prime said: “We know that small business owners are looking for innovative and cost-effective ways to streamline their businesses and save time, and that’s what this partnership with Next Insurance helps achieve. We believe Next Insurance offering products to Business Prime is another example of how this program provides value and benefits to members.”
Next Insurance indicated in September that it has over 100,000 customers and its offerings are available in all 50 states.
The company operates in a vibrant insurance tech space that includes Israeli-founded companies Lemonade, recently with a successful IPO, and Hippo Insurance.
