A new global summit set to take place virtually next week will focus on sustainable innovation and development. The event will gather heads of state, industry experts, investors, and innovators and will be streamed from Tel Aviv.
Prominent keynote speakers include former US ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, Dr. Kira Radinsky, co-founder of Diagnostic Robotics, and former Israeli ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, also a former Israeli minister of science and technology, and the creator of the event. The speakers and panelists will discuss challenges and solutions for a “collective sustainable future” and “preparation for a post COVID world” while highlighting Israeli solutions and innovations, according to the event page.
“The COVID crisis has highlighted the necessity and importance of technology for Israel and the world,” said Danon in a statement. “The DiploTech Global Summit 2020 will highlight Israel’s unrivaled innovations and pioneering technology in the fields of sustainable development, post-Covid solutions, water, cyber and agriculture.”
Danon added that the one-day online conference, sponsored by the Jerusalem Post, will “showcase tomorrow’s technologies, but more importantly, it will help build bridges and create connections between Israel and the global community” and build “authentic connections [that] will help change the lives of societies for the better in a real and tangible way.”
The event is set for December 16.
