The fourth annual Travel Tech Israel (TTI) 2019 conference is set to take place in Tel Aviv next week, bringing together top executives from international travel companies as well as members of promising Israeli startups to collaborate, network, and learn from each other. The event is organized by InnoVel, an Israeli travel tech innovation center.
The main conference will be held on Tuesday, June 11th for a full day of panels, lectures, startup pitches, and networking breaks. There will be a VIP tour and reception preceding Tuesday, as well as invitation-only events in the days following to allow for “participants to interact in a more intimate setting,” according to the event description.
This year, Travel Tech Israel expects over 400 people to participate in the conference, including tech entrepreneurs, investors, service providers, Israeli travel executives, and international administrators from leading companies in the travel industry. Global travel corporations such as Expedia, Skyscanner, Booking.com, KIWI, and Lastminute.com, are all sending representatives to partake in the symposium.
InnoVel founder and CEO Rom Hendler said in a statement that the conference “provides the perfect stage for the local startups to create long-lasting business relations with some of the global travel giants, and will position Israel not only as the Startup Nation but also as the Travel Tech Nation.”
The conference comes as Israel’s tourism industry has enjoyed a boost alongside international travel, as nearly two million tourists have visited the country since the beginning of the year, according to the Israeli Ministry of Tourism.
