The producer of the annual Mobile World Congress (MWC), GMSA, named Israeli startup NanoLock Security “Startup of the Year” at the 2019 4YFN (Four Years From Now) Barcelona Awards running alongside the MWC 2019 event in the Spanish city last week.
Founded in 2016, NanoLock Security provides lightweight, virtual, low-cost security and management solution for connected edge devices (IoT).
The MWC event, the world’s largest exhibition for the mobile industry, gathered some 23,000 attendees and over 760 participating companies including 600 startups for three days. The 4YFN Awards are a key highlight of the event and feature a competition between five startup finalists.
Pere Duran, 4YFN Event Director at GSMA said in a statement: “Convening and recognizing creative innovation is the essence of the 4YFN event and NanoLock Security proved to be the rightful winner of the Startup of the Year Award.”
