Software Testing Firm Perfecto Mobile To Be Acquired For Reported $200M

Perfecto Mobile, a software testing company founded in Israel in 2006, has entered an agreement to be acquired by US company Perforce Software, a global provider of software solutions for a reported $200 million. The terms of the deal were not disclosed in the press release announcing the acquisition, expected to close later this year, but Israeli media reported that the agreement was valued at some $200 million.

Founded by CEO Eran Yariv, CTO Yoram Mizrahi and Jacky Allal, Perfecto offers app developers the ability to continuously test and monitor mobile and digital user experiences in real time. The company says it has more than 3,000 customers. It had previously raised some $90 million.

Yaniv said in a statement that Perfecto was “thrilled to join the Perforce team and … confident that this partnership provides us increased resources to capitalize on the continuous testing market opportunity.”

The digital transformation is driving accelerated adoption of DevOps and its activities such as continuous integration, test automation and continuous delivery to more quickly capture and engage customers online.
