September 29, 2015 | Thomson Reuters’ ranking of the World’s Top 100 Innovative Universities found two Israeli universities made the cut. Tel Aviv University was ranked 75th on the list and the Technion Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa was ranked 76th. Reuters’ rankings used 10 different parameters to determine which global universities are the most innovative, naming Stanford University in California the most innovative. The ranking looked at research, research quality, patent applications and interest in protecting or commercializing discoveries made at the university.
