August 10, 2015 | The Israeli robotics startup XACT Robotics announced that it raised $5 million in funding. The funding round was led by MEDX Ventures Group as well as private investors. XACT Robotics develops robotic technology for use in minimally invasive procedures. XACT’s technology was first applied for biopsy procedures in the lungs. XACT’s technology is part of the Technion Israel Institute of Technology’s technology transfer company.
