June 4, 2015 | The Israeli 3D technology and solutions developer Mantis Vision, which is part of Google’s ‘Project Tango’, announced that it raised $9.7 million from Formation 8, Qualcomm’s investment arm, among other investors. Mantis Vision will reportedly use the funds to further develop its MV4D technology that allows for 3D data acquisition. Mantis Vision was founded in 2005 by Gur Arie Bittan and Amihai Loven.
