June 4, 2015 | The Azrieli Foundation, one of the largest in Canada, announced that it will donated $10 million to research at the Hebrew University’s Azrieli Center for Stem Cells and Genetic Research. The funds will also be used to support Israeli doctoral students and young research faculty, as well as Canadian post-doctoral students. The new center will be led by Dr. Nissim Benvenisty, one of the world’s leading stem cell researchers, together with laboratories in Boston, New York and Los Angeles.
