Irish global healthcare company Covidien is acquiring Israeli comapany Given Imaging, which developed swallowable camera to diagnose problems in the digestive tract. The acquisition is estimated at about $860 million. Israel’s IDB Group agreed to sell its stakes in Given Imaging.
