Israeli AI Medical Imaging Startup DiA Partners With IBM Watson Health

Israeli AI medical imaging startup DiA Imaging Analysis will partner with IBM Watson Health, a provider of innovative, AI, enterprise imaging and interoperability solutions used by medical professionals worldwide, the company announced this week.

IBM’s new Imaging AI Marketplace will offer DiA’s FDA-approved, AI-powered cardiac ultrasound software, designed to assist clinicians to analyze cardiac ultrasound images automatically.

IBM announced the launch of its Imaging AI Marketplace at this year’s annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America in Chicago taking place this week, according to MJH Life Sciences’ website Diagnostic Imaging.

It will also introduce DiA’s LVivo EF solution, one of several cardiological and general imaging AI solutions developed by the company. The LVivo EF application offers clinicians an AI-powered quantification solution that will provide data such as Ejection Fraction (EF) and Global Longitudinal Strain (GLS). The company expects to add additional solutions to the Marketplace in the near future.

Founded in 2009 by Hila Goldman-Aslan (CEO), Michal Yaacobi (CTO), Arnon Toussia-Cohen (CCO) and Dr. Noah Liel-Cohen, DiA’s solutions assist clinicians to objectively and accurately analyze ultrasound images, reducing the subjectivity associated with a visual interpretation.
