Sense Education, a startup based in Tel Aviv and New York, developing data science products to disrupt the EdTech space, announced it has been chosen as the number one EdTech startup at South Summit’s 2018 EnlightED competition.
They also won “Best Technology Solution for Learning and Education” at the event. The startup was selected among 600 of the world’s top EdTech companies.
EnlightED is a new event launched this year at Madrid’s South Summit, which brought together top experts in education, technology, and innovation with startups focused on reinventing education in the digital world.
Sense Education is the world’s first artificial intelligence solution helping instructors find patterns in student submissions and open-ended assignments, and providing personalized feedback for them. The company says it identifies how people solve problems, allowing instructors to provide personalized feedback at scale. Working on many types of open-ended questions in finance, engineering, accounting, science, and technology courses, the company providing grading and feedback faster and more fair.
The system has already been implemented at Tel Aviv University, Bar-Ilan University, and other schools in Israel as well as the United States.
